The announced collaboration

The organiser describes FLUX TABLE as combining DAIKAN’s mirror-polished layered aluminium with a base developed through 130’s continuous-frame approach. It lists the project among highlights for the upcoming AUTOBAHN main venue. These are advance programme details from the organiser, not a review of the work or a claim that we attended.

Our studio take: make the roles visible

A project credit can do more than collect logos. Identify the designer, fabricator, material contributor and photographer where those roles apply, using wording agreed with the people involved. A reader should be able to distinguish who conceived the object from who made it.

Collect those details alongside the artwork brief. Confirm spelling, preferred names and the exact contribution before producing labels, a programme or a project page. Late credit changes can affect layout across several pieces at once.

Keep the credit connected to the object

Place the essential credit close to the work’s title and description. A longer account can explain the collaboration elsewhere, but visitors should not have to search a separate sponsor panel to find the maker.

Carry the same approved credit into image captions and any digital version. Confirm image permission separately; naming a photographer is not permission to reproduce their photograph. These are Chromatic’s editorial and production observations inspired by the announced collaboration, not an affiliation with the project or festival.
